When you join The Never Succumb to Beige Clan, you become part of a colourful community of like-minded people.
Never succumbing to beig is a philosophy. an attitude. A way of life. It's a decision to be vibrantly and visibly who you are. It's nothing to do with the colour beige and everything to do with living to the max. By setting up The Never Succumb to Beige Clan (The Clan), I'm inviting you to hop on the train of many colours with me and my sister Roz. Have a bit of fun, hang out with like minded others and have a place you can go to see off the beige blues.
As Scots (although we both now live in NZ), we though it fitting we should have our own tartan.

Love this Frances – well said!
We went to a funeral on Friday and I shed a lot of tears
Work colleague from years ago – his wife died from cancer – only 63!
Both of them still working in their small business and he is so lost, my heart breaks for them
This Xmas will be a tough one for you and the family – but love that you have those special things to help – its surprising how the smallest things give us the biggest smiles!
Hugs xx
Thanks Leaine — you comments are very much appreciated. Sad to hear about the loss of your friend. 63 is so very young to go. All we can do is enjoy what we have for as long as we have it. Spending time with friends like you and Bob (that lunch) will help make it a lovely Christmas even if there are absent chairs at the table xxx
I’ve always liked your writing but now it seems even better!
Thanks — that’s kind. I guess the strong emotion adds a level of depth to the piece.
Oh dear, I put off reading this because I knew it would make me cry. And guess what? Waaaaaaaa!
Lovely thoughts and such nicely crafted words, Frances. There will always be a Mum shaped hole in Christmas, it was definately her time of year. Miss you Mum. ❤❤❤
I figured it would be an emotional read for you, but the emotions are there anyway and I think it’s better to express them and share the loss xxx
